On behalf of the Communications Technicians and Supervisory staff at Westerville Communications, we would like to thank every agency, director, manager, and dispatcher who has offered assistance over the past three days. We are both humbled and amazed by your offers of support. When we received the assignment to arrange staffing to cover the Westerville Communications Center, we had no idea the response would be so overwhelming.
We had more than 30 agencies from across Ohio graciously offer their assistance. As of this posting, we, by far, have more volunteers than are needed to cover the communications center in Westerville. If the need changes, we will contact agencies directly.
