9-1-1 Grant – Second Round

Ohio Department of Commerce and Ohio 9-1-1 Program Office would like to announce a second round of grants for emergency call centers throughout the state to upgrade to Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) technology.

Nearly $1.5 million of the initial $4.3 million from the Federal 9-1-1 Grant Program is available for Ohio communities in round two.

The grants are designed to help local entities implement NG9-1-1 capabilities. They are good for new projects, covering items such as hardware, software, training, and consulting but cannot be used for items such as construction, operational costs, or legacy 9-1-1 systems.
