Representatives Flowers & Driehaus Introduce HB550

On Wednesday May 7th, the Ohio Chapters of APCO and NENA were notified that Representative Larry Flowers (R - Canal Winchester) and Representative Steven Driehaus (D - Cincinnati) introduced House Bill 550 known as the Wireless 9-1-1 Funding Bill. As introduced, the bill calls for a continuation of the monthly user fee on each wireless phone bill, but sunsets the fee on December 31, 2012.
