Ohio APCO/NENA to Host Press Conference

Ohio APCO and Ohio NENA will host a press conference on May 14th in conjunction with the quarterly chapter meeting. The press conference to be held at the 10:00 AM at the Holiday Inn at 7007 High St. in Worthington. The purpose of the event is to feature the release of a national report commissioned by the 911 Industry Alliance concerning the Health of the US 911 System.  The report will also serve to focus public attention on the Health of the “ Ohio ” 911 System and the pending wireless 9-1-1 funding legislation. In addition to the Executive Director of the 9-1-1 Industry Alliance, State Reps. Larry Flowers and Steve Driehaus will be there to talk about the future of Ohio ’s 9-1-1 system. Also invited to speak are representatives from the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police, the Buckeye State Sheriffs Association and the Presidents of NENA and APCO.
