Cheryl Pratt started with the Ohio State Highway Patrol in August 2003 as a dispatcher at the Findlay Patrol Post. In February 2005 she transferred to the Walbridge Patrol Post, which moved to the Bowling Green area in June of 2007. The Toledo Post dispatchers joined the Bowling Green dispatchers for the start of the Bowling Green Dispatch Center in August 2008. Cheryl continued on as a team member at the dispatch center until her promotion to her current position as a Dispatcher Supervisor in April 2012.
As a dispatcher supervisor, Cheryl supervised dispatchers in the Findlay District, at the Bowling Green Dispatch Center, the Findlay Dispatch Center and the Van Wert Dispatch Center from April 2012 until August 2016, when a supervisor was hired to lead the Bowling Green Dispatch Center. Currently, she supervises the Findlay Dispatch Center and the Van Wert Dispatch Center and understands the many challenges managers face when trying to retain and hire dispatchers.
Prior to working for the Patrol, Cheryl was the Director of Transit in Sandusky County.
